Frequently asked questions

When can I cancel a subscription?

You can cancel at any time through the 'Manage Seats' section of the user portal (top right corner of this website). Your access to the software will continue until the end of your current subscription period, at which point it will not renew.

Can I get a refund on a subscription?

Although you will not be charged any additional subscription fees after the point of cancellation, all subscription fees are final. If you cancel your subscription, you will still be able to access the software for the remainder of your current paid subscription period.

What are the system requirements to run the Ivory Design Suite software?

Recommended System Requirements: - Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit - 64-bit Intel® or AMD® multi-core processor with SSE4.2 instruction set - Nvidia 1060 Ti equivalent or better - 16Gb DDR3 2400Mhz RAM - 2Gb of free space for install

Can I get additional credits?

Sure. You can get additional credits through the 'Manage Seats' section of the user portal (top right corner of this website). Additional credits will roll over to the next billing cycle, until used.

What happens to my unnused credits?

The basic 4 credits on your account are renewed at the beginning of each billing cycle. These credits do not roll over to your next cycle. Any unnused additional credits that you have added to your license will roll over to the next billing cycle.

Is my credit card information stored at Ivory?

No credit card information is stored on ivory servers. We are committed to the protection of our customers’ data and for this reason we use a third party company for every transaction processing.

What file formats does the software works with?

Ivory Design Suite can read 3D objects files in the STL, OBJ and PLY formats and exports in the STL format. Note that color can only be read from PLY files.

What scanners should I use if I want to work with the Ivory software?

We recomend the use of the "AutoScan-DS-EX Pro Dental 3D Scanner" from Shining 3D to scan impressions or models. However, any other 3D scanner (even intra-oral scanners) with a scanning resolution similar to the AutoScan-DS-EX Pro can be used as well. For face scanning we recommend the use of the "EinScan-Pro+ Multi-Functional Handheld 3D Scanner" from Shining 3D. However, any other 3D scanner suitable for face scanning with a scanning resolution similar to the EinScan-Pro+ can be used. Be mindfull that some face scanning solutions in the market use pictures-to-models techniques that don't produce an actual 3D model of the face being scanned. This kind of technology is not compatible with the Ivory Design Suite software.

What 3D Printer or Dental Milling Machine should I use to produce dentures made with Ivory Design Suite?

We recommend the Phrozen line up of resin 3D printers alongside the ChiTuBox software to add supports and slice the 3D models. The "MoonRay" 3D printer from SprintRay is also a viable option. Any other fabricating device with a resolution equal or better than 100 microns can also be used.

I created an Ivory Account but I can't login into Ivory Design Suite!

An Ivory account alone is not enough to login into Ivory Design Suite. Only accounts with an Active Subscription can login into Ivory Design Suite. If you don't have a subscription you can still use Ivory Design Suite as a Guest User. Guest users are unable to export STL files.
